Power of Attorney
If you wish to appoint a person(s) or a representative to pursue matters on your behalf in Ethiopia, you will require a Power of Attorney.
For Brazilians and Nationals of Other Latin American Countries:

Notarize documents by the state in which the applicant is residing,

Authenticate the same document by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;

Copy of passport

Service fee depending on the nature of the document above

For Ethiopians and Holders of Ethiopian Origin ID
In cases where the Power of Attorney is sent to the Embassy by mail:

Power of Attorney should be notarized by a notary office, and legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in which the applicant is residing,

Copy of valid Ethiopian passport

Copy of Residence/ Work permit; or any other document to the same effect;

Service fee depending on the nature of the document;

In cases where the applicant signs the Power of Attorney in front of a consular officer at the Embassy:

Document of the Power of Attorney that will then be signed in front of a consular officer;

Copy of valid Ethiopian passport

Copy of Residence/ Work permit; or any other document to the same effect;

Copy of Ethiopian origin ID Card (for foreign nationals of Ethiopian Origin);

Service fee depending on the nature of the document ;
