Amb. Sinknesh Ejigu, presents her credential to the Vice President of Argentina
The accredited Ambassador of Ethiopia to Argentina, Ambassador Sinknesh Ejigu , presented her credentials to the Vice President, H.E Mr. Amado Boudou of the Republic of Argentina , on Thursday (April 23, 2015).
Presenting her credential Ambassador Sinknesh conveyed the greetings and good wishes of Ethiopia’s president H.E Dr.Mulatu Teshome for the well-being of the President of the Republic of Argentina and for the welfare and prosperity of its people . She also noted that her appointment will strengthen the already existing bilateral relationships between Argentina and Ethiopia, by realizing the currently signed technical cooperation agreement in Addis Ababa between the two countries. Ambassador Sinknesh further raised Ethiopia’s double digit Economic growth registered for the last consecutive twelve years and Ethiopia’s role in promoting peace and security in the region . The Vice President of the Republic of Argentina Mr. Amado Boudou on his part appreciated the historic relationships between the two countries and emphasized that Ethiopia is a Priority for his country by all dimensions in Africa. In addition he noted that his government has interest to enhance south-south cooperation through technical and International cooperation.
During their conversation both agreed to work hard in the areas of common interest to strengthen the relationships between the two countries. Ambassador Sinknesh ,during her stay in Buenos Aires Met with Mr. Julian L.Tettamanti , the Director General for Sub-Saharan Africa In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Argentina and have exchanged ideas on how to realize the technical cooperation signed between the two countries and to take it to a higher level by - exploring any other opportunities of mutual interests .
